GSBC Reopening Plan

Phase One from Online to Drive-In to Indoors

  • All Bible Fellowship, Senior Saints, Youth and Children and ALL activities remain suspended.

We will offer Drive In and Back In The Building on a week to week basis as we adhere to guidelines from Virginia, the CDC and SBCV.

The service will be limited to 1 hour to minimize the need for bathroom facilities.

The one 10am worship service will be inside, live streamed and available outside via FM Radio.

All participants should practice social distancing of at least 6 feet apart. This does not apply to family members of the same household.

Restrooms will be available if it is necessary.

No in-person small groups will meet. Bible Fellowship/Small Group Weekly Bible studies will be held via ZOOM during this phase.

Giving will be maintained by mailing it into the church, driving it by the church during business hours, or giving electronically. In addition, we will be collecting offerings with buckets during the Drive-In service and Back In the Building.

Vulnerable Populations are encouraged to stay home.

**Vulnerable Populations (quoted from the White House Coronavirus Task Force) Elderly individuals. These are individuals with severe underlying health conditions, including high blood pressure, chronic lung disease, diabetes, obesity, asthma, and those whose immune systems are compromised (such as by chemotherapy or cancer and other conditions requiring such therapy)

All Leadership meetings have been conducted with social distancing and accomplished via Zoom.

    Service at 10:00AM

We will ease back into gathering inside for worship at your own discretion.

Based on Governors 50% of occupancy for religious services. We are blessed with amazing facilities to do this effectively. We will be limited to being upstairs only.

Chairs will be set up to allow for distancing in worship space before coming and bring an individual sanitizer for yourselves. Chairs will be grouped in 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s, and 6s for individuals, couples and families to sit together.

Face masks are recommended and some will be provided upon entry per request.

Doors will be opened by greeters for in-person worship.

No handouts/bulletins/pens food or coffee will be provided.

Cleaning has been arranged for before, during and after the service.

I know there are many questions, but we have considered and prayed over our plan.If we can clarify, please contact the church office.

    Blessings,
