"The Purpose of Christmas" (Weekly Series)
The Purpose of Christmas is a brand-new Bible study for small groups and families. It teaches why we celebrate Christmas and how it can change our lives forever. In three sessions, Rick Warren teaches that at the very first Christmas, the angel announced three things, and in those three statements, we find the three purposes of Christmas: (1) that Christmas is a time of celebration, (2) that Christmas is a time for salvation, and (3) that Christmas is a time for reconciliation. This study will be offered on Wednesday nights, starting on December 3. It is only a 3 week class. The cost will be $7 per person if you want a study book. Some couples may want to share. If anyone would like the hardback book, they are $15.00 each. The study recommends reading sections of the book in each of the lessons. If you would like to attend this study please sign up on the sheet provided on the table in back of the sanctuary by November 30. Also, show the number of study books and hardback books you would like.
