The Deacon Fellowship at GSBC is set up to serve the many needs of the church. They are responsible for the stewardship of the church facilities and they support the staff in carrying out their ministry objectives. Deacons are charged with promoting unity within the church, and facilitating the spread of the gospel.
The Deacons are committed to serving the needs of the GSBC members. They are committed to praying for your family on a regular basis. Your Deacon is available as a confidential counselor regarding circumstances in your lives and to support you in times of stress and anxiety - walking beside you as you seek the Lord’s guidance together. The Deacons will also serve as liaisons to GSBC by keeping you informed about special events and church programs and answering any questions or concerns you may have about ministries and operations of the church, and can relay your feedback to the church staff.
